These past few months have been full of behind the scenes work to get ready to launch Magnolia Boudoir – a Washington DC premier boudoir photography service!

I have been photographing boudoir clients quietly and behind the scenes for years with my portrait business Shey Marin Photography but this separate and sacred space just for my boudoir clients has been a dream of mine for years. As I grow as a photographer and a woman myself, I have found that a personalized dedicated place to connect with women in the Washington DC metro area (and beyond!) was needed and adored. I am loving connecting women with the finest version of themselves, a part of them they don’t get to see very often, but a part that has been within them their entire lives.

From the pre-consultation where I hear women say “I just want to feel sexy again” or “my partner is going to go crazy!”, the reactions have been amazing. The best is when they see their images though!! I have heard “I can’t believe that is me!” and “I didn’t realize I could look like this!” Every woman leaves here dancing on air and loving their premier boudoir experience. The luxury boudoir level of beauty these sessions have is unparalleled!
